Recoverable oil double what was thought
According to this Seeking Alpha news article, Continental Resources has upped its estimate of recoverable Bakken oil from 20 billion barrels to 30-40 billion barrels. The increase comes from enhanced technologies that have been developed since the 20 billion barrel estimate came out in 2011.
